A large portion of the textiles used in our collections are vintage fabrics sourced locally in Morocco. Moroccan markets are known for their incredible variety of traditional textiles, many of which have been preserved over time. These fabrics often carry rich textures, intricate patterns, and unique character that cannot be replicated through modern mass production. By sourcing vintage materials already in circulation, we are able to give these textiles a second life while preventing them from going to waste. This approach allows us to work with exceptional materials while supporting a more circular and responsible design process.
Alongside Moroccan textiles, we incorporate select African fabrics that are known for their craftsmanship and cultural significance. Among these are traditional indigo-dyed textiles sourced directly from Africa. Indigo fabrics are celebrated for their deep natural tones and the artisanal techniques used in their creation. The dyeing process itself is a heritage craft that reflects generations of knowledge and skill. Incorporating these textiles brings authenticity, history, and artistry into each design while supporting the continued appreciation of traditional textile practices.
